Hey everyone!

Today I will be launching my first YouTube “let’s play” series know as, “Slightly Modded Minecraft” and I thought before it all kicks off and goes live I might as well speak a little about it and explain why… Slightly modded?

Over the years I have become a huge fan of Minecraft and I have actually been playing it since before 1.7 (which was a while ago now) however I’ve found myself becoming a little tired of vanilla Minecraft pretty fast and with 1.7.10 being the most modded version I started at the right time.

For example: Vanilla Minecraft (non-modded) seems to lack a lot so it’s usually fine for a few weeks/months then you’re usually done, however with Modded you can play for months and months and still find something new to do!

Hey everyone!

Some of you may know that my audio setup runs an XLR microphone and as these can’t just simply plug in to your PC via a cable, they require a device to manage it which is why I used to use a focusrite scarlett 2i2 audio interface.

The 2i2 interface is basically a desktop soundcard that takes the xlr mic cable input and feeds into the PC via usb, however while it does the job absolutely fine I felt it was rather limited to one job… Powering my Audio Technica AT2035.

But what if I wanted to control game audio or music? The Focusrite can’t do this and right now, neither can my Mackie but eventually with some future projects it will.

Hello everyone!

Over the last few days I’ve been seeing more and more people discussing AdBlock and trying to encourage others to use it as well, I’ll be honest I’m not 100% against the software however some use it to it’s fullest capabilities and this is affecting people like myself…

Firstly you need to understand what AdBlock is, as well as what it does!

AdBlock is a “content filtering” and “ad blocking” extension which allows users to prevent page elements, such as advertisements, from being displayed and whilst this has no imediate affect on the users it can and does have a huge affect on content creators that depend on the revinue created from the ads being displayed.
